The center of the community surrounding the Glen Town Center is fraught with beauty and opportunities for ample time spent among nature. Located at the former site of the Glenview Naval Air Station, The Glen Club is part of a nearly 200-acre retreat and home to America’s first 18-hole golf course, first established in 1893. Today, The Glen Club is one of the nation’s premier golfing destinations offering on-site dining, cocktails, and membership options for regular golfers. The other side of the Glen Town Center is home to Gallery Park. Spanning across 140 acres, locals frequently enjoy the walking path surrounding the scenic lake or spending time with family and friends taking advantage of the park's many fields and open green spaces. If a day out of town is necessary, the bustling center of Chicago and its endless entertainment is a quick ride down the Metra line from the Glenview Station located across from Jackman Park.
